TSA Airport Security

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was formed immediately following the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The TSA is part of the Department of Homeland Security and is responsible for the security of the nation’s transportation systems.

At North Central West Virginia Airport the TSA is responsible for the security checkpoint. Questions pertaining to prohibited items, traveling with liquids, and traveling with children may be found on their website.

Airport Badging and CKB Security

If you need unescorted access authority at the North Central West Virginia Airport, please fill out either the Airport Operating Area Badge application or the Security Identification Display Area Badge application. Questions pertaining to airport access or badging hours should be directed to Airport Administration during regular office hours.

For lost or stolen airport access badges, please contact your direct supervisor immediately as well as Airport Administration. Failure to do so may result in additional penalties.
